Even the search "find a face painter near me" brings up national agencies, not local artists.  These days the big companies that service the nation as a referral and booking services come up first in those first few pages. These sites charge the artist or take a percentage of the from the entertainer you seek to hire. And look closely many times they suggest an entertainer that is miles, even states away.

Sadly many may think they are getting the best, when they are only getting those who have paid for advertising.  Don't get me wrong, we know many good artists who pay for these services, we have even done that, but the best entertainers are best hired directly.

Take more time to look around.  It really is not that hard to find the right face painter or temporary tattoo artist direct. Shop past the 4 or 6th Google page, your kids, your guests are worth your time. By shopping direct with the artist you get to see the wide ranges of images of art done on the job. You can call them and ask about how they will meet your personal party and event needs. Search and hire local, you will not be sorry you did.

Cal Face Painters - Sacramento Face Painters

Here we are Sweet Loretta and my High Jinks Extreme Face Art team of fab face and body painters - we are ready after a busy summer to paint and airbrush a season of fall colors. We are booke around Sacramento for several school and festivals and look forward to Halloween. Love to paint the grownups who seem more than willing to get painted for Halloween.

Sacramento Face Painting - Hire A Face Painter

So how much does it cost to hire a face painter in the Sacramento Area?  Well it seems in the last 2 yrs that has has gone all over the board in terms of the services you get and the quality of the face painting.
I am an experienced and seasoned face painter having painted faces in the Sacramento area for 10 years.

My designs and level of services has been - to quote some new face painters in the area - as the mark to meet.  And yet I am finding that I am cheaper to hire than some far less experienced, less trained and far less skilled. And I find too that some of these painters are not licensed or insured.  So you don't always get what you pay for, some are sure to just want to seem they are at the same level of quality as the top entertainers - they are not.  However if you pay a fourth of what it costs to hire High Jinks artists it's without a doubt you will get what you paid for.

Check too as we have found while many list the areas they serve - they really will not travel to those areas. High Jinks is centrally located to serve the Sacramento area, the Chico northstate area, Auburn gold county area, and the Sacramento corridor. We travel.  And when we refer to artist we refer to talent we know can provide you the level of quality we provide.

So look closely at the face paintings people show.  I only show you face painting designs done on the job. Does a painter asking the same or higher rate show the same quality?  Only about 2 others in the Sacramento area can, and I am happy to refer to them.  Are the pictures taken on the job?  Many show photos that they spent a good deal of time on - this is not what they will paint for you on the job.  One in the local area shows stock photos - not even their paintings.  We painted at the Marysville Peach Festival where an additional face painter showed big displays of photographs taken from thr books of artists who are friends of ours, she didn't show her work.

It's ok to ask if the really can verify they are licensed or insured.  Don't get lip service.
