 Oh my Blogger. I am busy posting on our Google Profile that I forget to post here.

High Jinks was established in 2000 and officially licensed in the spring of 202. For years our website url was HighJinksFun.com. As a single artist business it was often hard to cover large events, and I knew other painters who shared this issue. In 2006 we started to establish an LLC using Extreme Face Art where we could on occasion work as a team. Over the years we all grew and we grew our own team in our own region. I was then left with the name and url ExtremeFaceArt.com and began using it as my web base, with HighJinksFun rolling over.  Now in 2022 Go Daddy as my host has messed up my ExtremeFaceArt.com site and can not repair it. So in order to recreate my website away from Go Daddy I am back to using www.HighJinksFun.com as my main website url and having www.ExtremeFaceArt.com roll over. 

I hate for my customers to be confused, but I am confident you will find us High Jinks : Extreme Face Art for all you face painting and temporary tattoo entertainment needs in the greater Sacramento, Placer, Yuba, Sutter and Butte region.

Right now we are busy with school events or harvest fairs and carnivals, and the tale end of summer company picnics. And we are gearing up for Holiday events, book early. 

Best Face Painting For 2019

Every birthday child deserves to best face painting at their party. So what does that really mean? Is it simply the most proficient or over the top talented painter? Is it the painter who brings the most colors and sparkly giant stick on bling?  Is it the painter with the cheapest price? Or is it measued by how much fun the kids have?

I think how much fun the kids and adults are having is pretty high on the list. And I do think a good reason price is worth something. But I do know quality face art is not always the cheapest, but then too it is not always the most expensive. Having a good set-up is very important, but that does not mean a ton of colors and "stuff". It encompasesses so much more, enough fun colors to paint all kinds of popular designs is critical, as is some sparkly glitter, but it is also about good hygine and techniques that make kids feel special and comfortable.

Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds Hawk Flight

Wow! What a long day painting so many faces in Yuba City for the Hawk Flight Earth Day event.  The Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds were filled with vendors and agencies passing out free food, games, prizes and we all like free!  So High Jinks Extreme Face Art was no exception - free face painting was a huge success.

So many asked if I paint at birthdays - and I am happy to write we today added a new staff member for airbrushing so Sweet Loretta will have more open days to paint at children's parties........ but hey I paint adults and teens too - so call me! And yes, it still helps to book on Sundays as we have more openings.

These lovely teens summed up the day.  Look what great friends they are.  I love this picture. A simple face painting as I was so busy and at 5 hrs straight (after erecting the balloon arch) so tired.  But still the face art came out great due to those beautiful friends.

For me the big highlight was the owl. Neato! a large 8-9 lb owl - whoo knew their eyes were so orange!
