Smells Like Halloween

Ok not quite as it was still well over 80 degrees today. But I know Halloween is coming I saw it in Walmart!  No really,  I have been working for months on High Jinks Extreme Face Art scarecrow for Bishops Pumpkin Farm.  No, it is not Sweet Loretta painting faces these days out at Bishop's Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland, CA as it is cheaper to have teens do non-professional faces, but we still do company picnics and special events at the farm. The farm is a great place for you group event, it's cool in the hot summers, they'll cater the food, plenty of play space for the kids along with small farm animals for them to pet and see. If you choose the train can even be made available - and of course we will come out to paint faces and/ or airbrush tattoos.  Of course now Bishop's Pumpkin Farm is open for you to get pumpkins for carving, gourds and squash for decorations, oh my we always have to buy apple cider, and pies - love the walnut and pumpkin walnut.  We love Halloween!

Cal Face Painters - Sacramento Face Painters

Here we are Sweet Loretta and my High Jinks Extreme Face Art team of fab face and body painters - we are ready after a busy summer to paint and airbrush a season of fall colors. We are booke around Sacramento for several school and festivals and look forward to Halloween. Love to paint the grownups who seem more than willing to get painted for Halloween.

Sacramento Face Painting - Hire A Face Painter

So how much does it cost to hire a face painter in the Sacramento Area?  Well it seems in the last 2 yrs that has has gone all over the board in terms of the services you get and the quality of the face painting.
I am an experienced and seasoned face painter having painted faces in the Sacramento area for 10 years.

My designs and level of services has been - to quote some new face painters in the area - as the mark to meet.  And yet I am finding that I am cheaper to hire than some far less experienced, less trained and far less skilled. And I find too that some of these painters are not licensed or insured.  So you don't always get what you pay for, some are sure to just want to seem they are at the same level of quality as the top entertainers - they are not.  However if you pay a fourth of what it costs to hire High Jinks artists it's without a doubt you will get what you paid for.

Check too as we have found while many list the areas they serve - they really will not travel to those areas. High Jinks is centrally located to serve the Sacramento area, the Chico northstate area, Auburn gold county area, and the Sacramento corridor. We travel.  And when we refer to artist we refer to talent we know can provide you the level of quality we provide.

So look closely at the face paintings people show.  I only show you face painting designs done on the job. Does a painter asking the same or higher rate show the same quality?  Only about 2 others in the Sacramento area can, and I am happy to refer to them.  Are the pictures taken on the job?  Many show photos that they spent a good deal of time on - this is not what they will paint for you on the job.  One in the local area shows stock photos - not even their paintings.  We painted at the Marysville Peach Festival where an additional face painter showed big displays of photographs taken from thr books of artists who are friends of ours, she didn't show her work.

It's ok to ask if the really can verify they are licensed or insured.  Don't get lip service.

Extreme High Jinks And Face Painting At Music Festivals

Neither rain nor snow nor mud .......... and we had it all.......... shall stop this face painter from painting at Strawberry Music Festival!

We once again were dee-lighted to have painted many faces and airbrushed many an arm up near Yosemite while listening to the great sounds of spring 2010 lineup.  And while Lyle Lovett and Patty Loveless where in deed great the band I loved and that had folks talking was the March Forth Marching Band wow these guys are fun!

High Jinks Face Painting in Yuba City

Well seems I was again out painting faces for Yuba City folks to enjoy.
I was at a school festival and carnival of fun - lots of children I have painted for many years were there and it was fun to see them all. I do paint at many school events and we do airbrush at many too, we are usually so busy at schools, today was slow and really just a pleasant day painting faces in yuba city.

Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds Hawk Flight

Wow! What a long day painting so many faces in Yuba City for the Hawk Flight Earth Day event.  The Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds were filled with vendors and agencies passing out free food, games, prizes and we all like free!  So High Jinks Extreme Face Art was no exception - free face painting was a huge success.

So many asked if I paint at birthdays - and I am happy to write we today added a new staff member for airbrushing so Sweet Loretta will have more open days to paint at children's parties........ but hey I paint adults and teens too - so call me! And yes, it still helps to book on Sundays as we have more openings.

These lovely teens summed up the day.  Look what great friends they are.  I love this picture. A simple face painting as I was so busy and at 5 hrs straight (after erecting the balloon arch) so tired.  But still the face art came out great due to those beautiful friends.

For me the big highlight was the owl. Neato! a large 8-9 lb owl - whoo knew their eyes were so orange!

Easter Face Painting in Sacramento

Happy Easter. Yesterday we did face painting in Sacramento for a great group of folks and we were able to meet the Easter Bunny. What fun. Have a great day today.

Face and Body Art 2010

Hi all, we are busy with pulling to together the new 2010 face painting and airbrush tattoo season. First off we will be working back under our original business name High Jinks. We will use the name Extreme Face Art for our new store where we'll help you find supplies for your Halloween, Haunt, Cosplay, Faeplay and fun.

We are ready to get underway with a new season. We have the new company shirt pressed and ready to roll. And we are offering up many new face art designs as well as tattoo designs. We are thrilled too to add in new colors that will really make our work stand our. For a fresh up date we'll have new paint & airbrush stands. We love our easy, fast set-up and it's just time for more, and new cleaner stands. That'll be a nice look at your company or school event. We want to bring you the very best.

We have several Grad Nights booked and are already looking to Strawberry Music Festival. We have a a few inquires from some big music festivals and hope we will announce soon that you'll find us there this summer.
